HEALTH-MEDICINES-PRECAUTIONS!

*As I have been taking my newly prescribed medicines, I have also been taking some very basic precautions that I hope will prevent me from making some of the potentially serious mistakes that I might otherwise be making, which includes the precautions that I have listed below...in no particular order.
1. I am keeping a list of all of my current medicines, including their names and their dosages, and the times and circumstances under which I am supposed to be taking them.
Note: This list also has space for me to write down any problems that I might have while I am taking these medicines, so that I can discuss them later, should the need arise.
2. I have a well lit place where I can read labels and other instructions before taking these medicines.
3. I have avoided the temptation to crush and/or split any of my medicine tablets, and will probably continue to do so unless I get the okay from my doctor beforehand.
4. I have no plans to stop taking my medicines before I have completed my recommended dosages, even if my symptoms disappear.
5. I have spoken with my pharmacist about the aspirin and the vitamins that I have also been taking on a daily basis and been reassured that there will be no conflict with my newly prescribed medicines.
6. I have discarded all of my outdated medicines.
7. I am now storing and will continue to store my medicines in their original containers, which still have their labels and instructions attached.
8. I have moved my medicines out of my bathroom, and into a new storage place that is away from heat, light and moisture.
