HEALTH-WARNING SIGNS-HYPERTENSION!

*Since high blood pressure or hypertension was so heavily involved in my own recent heart attack I obviously think that it would be important to include some warning signs here, which I would, if I could, but since THERE AREN'T ANY WARNING SIGNS that an "average" person can use to recognize high blood pressure in their own bodies, I will have to settle for making the recommendation that "average" people have their blood pressures taken as often as possible by persons who are trained and equipped to do so, and that they then react as appropriate.
Note: To persons, such as myself, who do not have a family doctor or immediate access to other medical professionals, I would like to point out that free blood pressure readings are often available at local health fairs, and shopping malls, and pharmacies, and at various other locations, and that even though the quality of these readings may vary, they are at least better than nothing.
Note: Additional information about hypertension may be obtained by connecting to The American Stroke Association online at www.strokeassociation.org/ .
