*Recently, while I was visiting a local park to investigate the possibilities for taking at least a few of my daily walks there, I encountered a number of other senior citizens who were already doing the same thing, and a smaller but still significant number of other senior citizens who had moved beyond walking and on to Jogging, which they described as being "just like running, only slower," in order to achieve the added physical benefits...especially in the area of cardiovascular health...that they claimed this faster paced activity can offer, when done correctly and within acceptable physical limits...and...I have to say that I was impressed with their apparent good health, and also with their apparent sincerity, and with their obvious enthusiasm, especially while they were trying to persuade me to at least give Jogging a try...which I eventually promised to do...at some time in the future...after I have reached a little higher level of physical fitness...which I plan to do by continuing my walking program, and by adding whatever other activities that I choose to use...and...after I have found a way to avoid the additional damage that my already damaged knees and ankles will surely suffer if I start Jogging before I have properly prepared myself to do so...which is something that I am going to have to study further...while I am also studying other lower impact alternatives, such as bicycling, and power walking, and stair climbing, and swimming, and whatever else is out there.
