*Actually, I was a little reluctant to call this post an "update" because, at least according the media reports that I have read, the only thing that can really be said about this strike at this point in time is that the The Writers Guild of America is still on strike against The Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers, with no progress having been made and no further bargaining sessions being scheduled.
