*Recently, as my mind was marching down memory lane, I was delighted when it stopped at Callaway Gardens, which is a beautiful 13,000 acre resort and nature preserve that is located near Pine Mountain, Georgia, where it offers a wide variety of recreation and relaxation related goods and services to casual visitors, and day trippers, and serious vacationers at prices that are not inexpensive but still competitive with other resorts that offer similarly upscale goods and services.
Note: As a recommendation, I want to say that even though I have not been to Callaway Gardens in several years I have visited there several times over the years, as a casual visitor, and as a day tripper, and as a serious vacationer, and that each time it has surpassed all of my previously very high standards and then forced me to set them higher, so that it could then surpass THEM on my next visit...which I hope still awaits me...at some time in the not too distant future.
