*With the arrival of the Christmas holidays, I have noticed an increase in the number of advertisements for something called "consignment stores" that have been appearing in the Houston, Texas media, which I can understand, at least in general, because of the holidays and the increased profit potential that they have brought with them, but not in detail, because of the fact that I don't have a good idea of just what a "consignment store" really is, and/or what it is supposed to do (that other kinds of stores are not already doing,) and/or how, which is what I have now assigned myself to find out, and after I have in fact found out I will be posting my findings here, as appropriate.
