HOUSTON-TEXAS-ECONOMY!

*According to information provided by the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas (FRBD), the Houston, Texas economy continues to outpace other areas of the United States in continued growth and prosperity as described in the following quote that I extracted from the FRBD website, which was dated "January 2008."

"The Houston economy is probably on track to add 100,000 new jobs in 2007, once all the revisions are complete. The local economy continues to click along, with the one notable exception of housing. Oil prices above $90 per barrel continue to work their magic for the city, despite slower growth at the national level. Looking ahead, however, if the slowdown were to become more serious for the world’s largest economy, it could spell adverse consequences for both oil markets and Houston."
