TECHNOLOGY-HYDROGEN CARS!

*With US gasoline selling for record high prices at the pump, I recently went online in search of possible future alternatives to conventional gasoline powered automobiles, and found an interesting BBC report on “The Lifecar,” which is apparently a pollution free experimental concept car that was shown at the recently completed Geneva Motor Show.
*According to this BBC report, the lightweight Lifecar, whose development was financed in part by the British government, is based on the design of the Morgan Aero-8 Roadster, and is powered by advanced fuel cells and an energy storage system that should give the car a top speed of about 90 mph, and a 0-60 time of about 7 seconds, and a range of about 250 miles per tank of hydrogen.
*Also according to this BBC report, this concept car, and which has taken about three years to reach its present state of development, is being considered for eventual production.
*Further information on this subject may be obtained by connecting to the BBC's website at http://news.bbc.co.uk/ .
