*To supplement my recent posting on Amber Alerts for missing children and Silver Alerts for missing senior citizens, I have been searching for similar services for missing pets and thus far the most promising one seems to be something called "PETS 911," which can be found online at http://www.pets911.com/, where it offers a wide variety of pet related information and services, including an apparently cost free registry where lost pets can be listed and then hopefully returned home as soon as possible.
